Description:
Avipatti Churna is a classic mixture of herbs in Ayurveda that cure Pitta imbalances in the body. It also cleanses the intestines and is therefore used as a detox before other treatments are started for any dosha.
Dosage:
1-3g twice daily 30min before or 1 hour after food. Traditionally it should be taken rolled into a ball with one drop of honey. But it can also be taken with warm water.
Contents per 10g, equal parts of each
Trikatu – pepper, long pepper and ginger
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum
Patra – Cinnamomum tamala
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum
Ambhoda – Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus
Krimighna – Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry fruit – Emblica officinalis Gaertn.
Trivrit – Operculina turpethum
